Perfect Hair and Make-up
I knew Kari was going to be great before I booked her as she had done the hair and make-up for a friend's wedding when I was a bridesmaid! I had loved her calm, friendly and professional manner and I knew how talented she was. All the girls loved her so it was a very easy decision and I was so chuffed when she was available to do my wedding. Kari was very good at making me feel special as the bride and my trial was a fab experience. Kari was very patient and tried lots of things as I had no idea how I wanted to have my hair. We got there in the end with the most perfect up do! Kari picked out the perfect shades for my make-up and gave me some great beauty tips for the run up to the big day. On the day Kari was great. She is a lovely person to have around and I trusted her totally. I was thrilled with how all my bridesmaids looked and I really think I looked my absolute best because of Kari. "Babs came to the rescue for my sister's wedding when her first hair and make up artist completely missed the brief and my sister was distraught! No such trauma with Babs though. She really listens to what you want and takes the time to make sure you are absolutely happy. Not only did she do my sister's hair and make up perfectly (and it stayed perfect all day and evening), she made all requested tweaks without a fuss, came to the rescue when my sister had a veil meltdown, and managed to make me and another bridesmaid look naturally fabulous in the process! I have short straight hair, which you can't do much with, but Babs created light, natural curls which I loved and I wished could have kept longer than the 3 days they lasted! "I wanted to ensure I had the perfect make up for my wedding day & Tamara came highly recommended to me. Once I looked at her website I knew she would be the perfect choice. I used her not only for my own makeup but I also asked if she could do the make up for my mum & 4 bridesmaids which she more than happy to do. I gave her ideas on the sort of looks we wanted, she knew exactly what I meant and was very confident with doing it which really put us all at ease. As she had to do a total of 7 people all by herself I did worry it might be a bit rushed but she made sure she had plenty of time so we all felt relaxed and it was not at all stressful. Before she finished she checked we were all happy with our make up & touched up just before we left for the ceremony. The make up lasted all day & I had many comments both on the day itself & afterwards when people look at my wedding photos how lovely the make up was.
